Most capsules dissolve when they reach the acidic environment of the stomach. However, some pharmaceutical formulations can potentially harm or irritate the stomach lining, and others have greater efficacy when absorbed directly by the small intestine. They travel intact through the acids of the stomach and do not begin to dissolve until they reach the small intestine. This means they do not dissolve for at least 2 hours, typically being fully dissolved by the 2.5 or 2.75-hour point.

◉ The optimal temperature for empty capsules is 59°- 77° F / 15°- 25° with a relative humidity between 50-70%.

◉ If properly stored, these capsules can last up to 2.5 years!
